Announcement From the i.PH Team: Judge Gags i.PH Blog

November 25, 2010

NOTE FROM THE i.PH TEAM: This is a mirror of the blog entry posted at the i.PH news blog.

On November 22, 2010, a Writ of Injunction issued by Judge Danilo Buemio arrived at the dotPH offices. It ordered us to remove “malicious” items on the i.PH blog alimuom.i.ph. If you remember, alimuom.i.ph has been at the center of a libel lawsuit filed against us by Versomina Inc. The writer of alimuom.i.ph is an anonymous blogger who refuses to answer our appeal to come and help us out. A scan of the Injunction is posted at the end of this blog post for the curious.

We have censored what we think are the “malicious messages” referred to in the Injunction because we are, after all, law-abiding Netizens

There’s more to this case than just a debate over Free Speech.

If the blogger behind Alimuom comes forward, maybe we can get to the bottom of this.

You confident enough G.O.D? Greedy Old [REDACTED]!

October 12, 2008

You’re using one man, and one man only to avoid the incident of what you have done to iWebmasters before, Im talking about, Virgilio “Jun” Ventura!!! He’s the one who keeps on signing memos, making unnecessary rules, and a certified [REDACTED]! My friend told me that he always feel close to one of the former employees who accused your company in order to win the case. Well, I’ve got news for you, you and Jun must stop scamming other people, and abusing your own people.

 Here’s Jun Ventura:

Take a look at him, he’s the number 1 enemy of Netpros employees, better think twice if you attended an interview or at least see this person in an office.

Joven, The best statistician in Stratvisions is in Makati! Looking for ex-employees

September 6, 2008

I just don’t understand why Joel do this but is it fair to have someone look for ex-employees. I mean, Joven Custodio of Stratvisions.ph (or named Versomina/Netpros before). He is one of Joel E. Aquino’s henchmen who deals with some AWOLs and ex-Netpros employees. He also goes to each employee’s or ex-employee’s house to check what they are doing (in other words, he’s fishing some information).

By the way, this is the person I am talking about:

Rules are Rules, but are they right?

August 22, 2008

I’m very happy if I got out of the company (resign or end my contract I mean). But do you think rules can still be implemented even if you are out of the company?

Well I would like to share my friend’s experience about a company who still enforce rules even if youare out of the office. Those rules are:

- You are not allowed to join ex-employees even in parties and celebrations.

- You are not allowed to talk to an ex-employee even in chats.

- You are not allowed to do freelance even after office hours.

- You are not allowed to apply to other companies with the same line of business after 30 days of your departure from company.

Well, I think it is bad to have your employees/former employees to order some nonsense rules because, your out of the organization, right?

What is Alimuom

The term Alimuom means, heat vapors that rise from the surface of the Earth. It happens whenever it rains and you smell a very foul scent of the dust.

Versomina : All fresh grads, BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!

June 12, 2008

I have a friend who have been an employee of Stratvision (popularly known as Versomina, Webcomm, TeamCreatives, Wickedinnovations and Netpros) which was known for making and marketing porn sites. The company was headed by Joel E. Aquino, and the officer in charge is Virgilio “Jun” Ventura Jr.

According to my friend, when he got in this office, it was a very quiet office with employees sitting in their designated desks, quietly doing their tasks.  He was about to take out his cellphone but the guard told him not to use the cellphone inside the company (why?). He was offered an entry-level salary, but he was surprized that his salary will be decreased by 840+ per payday, which can add up to 10000 pesos in 6 months.

As he got into the company, he experienced all the weirdest company rules that he may ever experience. He cannot answer any phone calls while inside the office, he is forced to pay 1500 php for every computer violation he made such as browsing restricted sites, saving some restricted files, and more (even though he did not do those things, he still pay that [REDACTED] piece of [REDACTED]).

Even though it rained hard, or there is a very heavy storm, he still needed to go to the office. He also talked to this grumpy, dirty, ugly, dark, and immoral guy who is an admin supervisor (but looks like a janitor.

One day, I surfed the internet, and saw this article which may be found in http://newsinfo.inquirer.net/breakingnews/infotech/view_article.php?article_id=97990, wherein 13 people are charged for internet pornography. I told my friend to stay away from that company before it poisons his dignity.

Luckily for him, he left the company without anything happened to him.

Here are the perpetrators of this company:
